2024 Trips
MARCH 18 – 24, 2024 | SOUTHERN CHARM
Travel to Charleston, Savannah, St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island. This is a trip we have scheduled through Collette. We will fly into Charleston, South Carolina and a motor coach will take us to our destinations. Registration for this trip is already closed, but if you have interest, please contact me soon so I can see if there is still available seating.
MAY 15, 2024 | BEEF & BOARDS IN INDIANAPOLIS
This is a one-day trip which includes a buffet meal and reserved seating for the Beef & Boards production of “The King & I”. The King & I is one of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s most loved musical.
JUNE 11 – 12, 2024 | MYSTERY TRIP - ???????????
Only Judy knows for sure! Climb aboard for 2 days filled with surprises, unique stops and experiences found nowhere else. I wish I could share the fun and exciting activities, but that would spoil the mystery. If you have never taken a Mystery Trip but have always wanted to, THIS IS THE ONE!!
JULY 22 – 26. 2024 | FRANKENMUTH AND MACKINAC, MI
Travel with us to Michigan for a top-of-the-line trip where each day is special. We start in the wonderful, quaint town of Frankenmuth. You will think you are back in old Europe with the Bavarian Architecture and the famous Glockenspiel Clock. We will make pretzels and share in a scrumptious German meal. Take a horse drawn carriage ride and view Rocky Mountain Elk. Take the ferry to Mackinac Island. We will enjoy a carriage tour of the Island, have a tour and lunch at the famous Grand Hotel buffet. Day 3 begins with breakfast at the Murray Inn and then take the ferry back to Mackinaw City and travel to Grand Rapids, MI. Dinner will be served at the elegant Bistro Bella Vita. The last day starts with a tour of the Frederick Meijer Gardens, one of Michigan’s most popular attractions. We will have a guided tour of the indoor gardens followed by a tram ride throughout the sculpture park and gardens with a stop at The American Horse, a sculpture inspired by Leonardo da Vinci. This is all part of the Michigan Magic!! Join us.
AUGUST 13 & 14, 2024 | STARVED ROCK
Our first day, we arrive at Starved Rock State Park. Voted the #1 attraction in the State of Illinois, Starved Rock State Park boasts the largest two sided fireplace in Illinois. The historic Starved Rock State Park Lodge was constructed in 1933 by the CCC. After a hot lunch buffet we will see a performance of Heat-Wave – Vintage Songs of Summer. The second day, we will have a trolley and boat cruise tour of Starved Rock.
SEPTEMBER ??, 2024 | ???
We are still trying to schedule a one day trip to the Fox Theater in St. Louis. The Fox does not have their shows scheduled into September yet. I will have more information closer to September. This is always a popular trip but I would like to know what we are going to see. More information later. You can still call me and reserve a seat for this trip if you still want to go to the FOX.
OCTOBER, 19 – 24, 2024 | DISCOVER THE COLORS OF NEW ENGLAND
This is another Collette trip that we will fly from Indianapolis airport to Boston. Then we will tour Boston Massachusetts, Woodstock, & Stowe Vermont, North Conway New Hampshire, Lake Winnipesaukee – Ogunquit, Maine, Portland & Kennebunkport. I do have a flier for this trip. We still have until March 15, 2024 to register for this trip. Please call me if you have any questions or would like to see a flier.
NOVEMBER 13, 2024 | BEEF & BOARDS - INDIANAPOLIS
This is a one-day trip which includes a buffet meal and reserved seating for the Beef & Boards production of “Fiddler on the Roof”.
DECEMBER 14, 2024 | YULETIDE CELEBRATION – INDIANAPOLIS
This trip has become a tradition for FRSB Good Life Travel Club. The Indianapolis Symphony is an excellent event to kick off the Holiday Season. The concert will be held at the Hilbert Theater on Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis. Following the concert, dinner will be at Hollyhock Hill, another traditional meal. Join us as we experience an event that will surely put you in the Christmas spirit.

FEBRUARY 27 – MARCH 8, 2025 | HAWAIIAN ADVENTURE
A SPECIAL TRAVEL PRESENTATION FOR THIS TRIP WILL BE HELD WEDNESDAY, February, 28, 2024 at 6:00 PM at Country View Inn and Suites, Meeting Room, 100 Abraham Lincoln, Robinson, IL
