Deposit Operations Specialist - Robinson, IL
First Robinson Savings Bank, N.A. is looking for a reliable full-time or part-time Deposit Operations Specialist at our Robinson, IL location to perform basic accounting functions, debit card support, processing of overdrawn accounts and unposted items, daily file transmissions involved with posting transactions to customers’ accounts and running end of day options. This job consists of working on the computer/phone most of the day. Duties and responsibilities may change as new areas of need are presented. Responsibilities include:
- Process daily incoming and outgoing wire transactions
- Debit card support including ordering new/replacement cards, maintenance and filing disputes/fraud monitoring
- Review and process daily overdrafts and unposted transactions
- Process ACH transactions
- Process multiple files involving incoming and outgoing checks
- Balance general ledger accounts
- Balance and review all applications for end of day processing
- Process/support posting of transaction from multiple online banking products
- Prepare miscellaneous reports for management review
Qualifications for the job include:
- Excellent communication skills and multitasking
- Familiar with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work independently as well as working in groups and with all departments
- Basic knowledge of downloading and uploading files
- Quickly and proficiently comprehend new information
- Ability to handle stress under pressure with strong work ethic
- Strong customer service and phone etiquette skills
Most importantly, positively represent our bank within the community. Previous banking experience preferred but not required. Pay range is $19.00 - $24.00 per hour and based on experience.
