Qualifications
If you're thinking "what's the catch?" You're gonna love this. We've designed qualifications to make your life easier and help save the environment. Simply do the following each monthly qualification cycle:
- Have at least 10 debit card purchases post and settle*
- Have at least 1 online payment, direct deposit, or ACH auto debit
- Receive free eStatements instead of paper
Odds are, you're already doing it. Even if you don't qualify, Kasasa Giving is still free and earns our base rate of interest. You can get back to earning the full rewards the very next monthly qualification cycle.
*Minimum to open account is $100. Annual Percentage Yield (APY) accurate as of 8/30/11. Rate tiers are as follows: 2.01% APY applies to balances of $0 - $15,000 and 0.25% APY applies to balances over $15,000 if qualifications are met during the monthly qualification cycle. 0.05% APY applies to all balances if monthly qualifications are not met. All balances will earn 0.25% APY – 2.01% APY if monthly qualifications are met. Rates may change after the account is opened. Fees may reduce earnings. Charitable contributions made on all debit card purchases over $10.00 posted and settled during the monthly qualification cycle. Qualifying transactions must post and settle the account during the monthly qualification cycle. Transactions may take one or more business days from the transaction date to post to an account from the date the transaction is made. ATM-processed transactions do not count towards qualifying debit card transactions. Intra-bank transfers do not count as qualifying ACH transactions. ATM Fee reimbursements (Kasasa Cash account only) provided only if qualifications are met within the monthly qualification cycle. If a single fee is greater than $4.99 a receipt is required.
